Seagrass Events:
Seagrass events will start again in November 2026 and continue through to April 2027.
2026 planting and maintenance:
Elizabeth Point has undergone a transformation this year with the hard work put in by volunteers - noticed and praised by HVC staff! The last weekend of October we're looking to consolidate all that work and prepare for what looks like a hot, dry summer.
Date: Saturday, October 31st
Time: 10am-12 midday - followed by the usual yummy morning tea!
Place: Elizabeth Point
What: general maintenance, infill planting, mulching
Bring: tools for weeding and planting, MULCH if you have any, suitable clothing for sun/wind/rain protection.

Plant Offer
Do you have land available to plant out for wildlife habitat? Can you protect the plants and help them establish?
We still have plants available for financial members to put on private land where planting will extend or enhance biodiversity.
